So, now I am NOT in the Guardian Ad litem program. I was fired. Long story filed under stupid ignorant people who think they are God.

CASA Volunteer/Guardian Ad Litem

I got my first case today. Dang! There's a lot of forms. My case is very, very sad. That didn't sink in right away, but as the facts sank in, and the complete picture formed. But that is OK. I am here to fight the sadness, and darkness with God's help. That's what I want to do. I am so grateful for the opportunity.
I received my really cool "Majic Paper". I just love it. It says I have the right to see all paperwork pertaining to my child (...erm my "case" child) and this paper super cedes any other law, and if anyone objects they have to object in writing and go to a court hearing. How cool is THAT?? The only thing I can't see is if the child is in counseling or psychotherapy. That paper goes wherever I go for the ultimate power trip experience...LOL
We had a Christmas party last night. It was a wonderful party with really yummy food. OMG!! There was this "pizza" made of Brie Cheese with cranberries on top. OMGOMGOMG!! There was a whole table of horderves(SP?) and another table of deserts...really fancy deserts, that I tried not to look at because I'm Diabetic. And the only lights were candles and Christmas lights, the Tables had huge gorgeous cracked glass candle holders, wreaths and little presents for us.
Tomorrow I go to the Toy Drive to get toys for my Child's/Children's Christmas presents.
Yes I know weather it's one or more child. You may not know. I so hope I can help my child/children but I may not. If not I will pick up my torn heart and try again. It's the only thing I can do, because I cannot bear small helpless children being abused or unloved. I never was built that way.
*****If you would like more info about being a Guardian Ad Litem just google it, it's easy to find info and how to sign up in your area.

Excerpts from a Cat's diary:
It's day 683 of my captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.
In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about "what a good little hunter" I am. The audacity!
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event.
However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies". I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- this time at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches.
The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released and seems more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird must be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. The captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.....
For now....."

largest image
So, this seems to be the largest image I can post on here, unless I change my layout. Bleh!
My Sweetie

My sweetie...Bandit. You can see his deconstruction installation art at the bottom there.
He likes hanging out on my computer tower, and sleeps in the bathtub. Heh!
Also on the bottom helping me unpack..see the feet hanging out of the bag?
He always sits with one leg crooked (middle), and his paws stick out.
I had a cat for 23 years and she was my love, my buddie, so I kept the name Bandit
when I got him, to honor the person who gave him to me, and also, because I figured
he would have to steal my heart. He has, but I still miss my Tatter, too. You can never
run out of love for cats. Just look at that face!!
